Ten of Wands

Upright

The cycle of fire is completed. The idea that once flared up as a spark has gone the whole way and is now turning into something greater — a cause that others carry, a new level where the next fire begins. This is a moment of summing up and transition. Set down your load and look at how far you've come.

Reversed

Completion doesn't bring relief. What you've gained loses its worth, the load becomes too heavy, and everything you burned for seems pointless. The step to a new level doesn't happen. Don't carry more than you need: sometimes, to go further, you have to let something go.
