Seven of Wands

Upright

Your fire goes out into the world, and the world responds. Some support you, some resist, and sometimes unforeseeable circumstances step in. This is an interaction where it matters to hold your position and at the same time hear the feedback. Stand your ground — and bend like a flame in the wind, without going out.

Reversed

The world's resistance wears you out. Conflict takes more than it gives, unforeseen events knock you off course, and the process stops on the threshold of going out into the world. Perhaps it's worth not fighting the wind but changing direction — the fire won't go out because of it.
